In this Yiddish-language lecture, Dr. Trinh explores the theme of plagues within modern Yiddish literature. The discussion focuses on works by Glickl of Hamelin, Yitzkhok Leybush Peretz, and Rokhl Korn.

Dr. Miriam Trinh was awarded her doctorate in Yiddish from Hebrew University and subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She has lectured extensively, including at YIVO, Tel Aviv University, Trier University in Germany, the Vilnius University in Lithuania, and for several Toronto organizations. Dr. Trinh is currently a lecturer in the Masters Yiddish program at Hebrew University and serves as Chief Editor of the Yiddish culture journal "Afn Shvel."
