איבערזעצן דבורה פאָגעלס אַוואַנטגאַרדישע מאָנטאַזשן פון יידיש אויף ענגליש
Anastasiya Lyubas
Recorded live on Zoom, Sunday, December 3, 2023
Debora Vogel (1900-1942) wrote her avant garde prose being inspired by the technique of montage in photography and film, and collage in painting. Her experiments demonstrate an impressive range of expression in the Yiddish language and enable readers to engage with Yiddish literature in new ways.
This program is in English, with some readings in Yiddish.
Montage: Works by Debora Vogel, translated by Anastasiya Lyubas, is currently available for purchase from White Goat Press. For those in Canada who wish to purchase the book at a lower shipping cost, please contact Anastasiya directly at alyubas@gmail.com.
